Legislative Building Tours

We offer free 50-minute tours of the Legislative Building, also known as the Capitol Building, several times a day, most days.

Portions of the Legislative Building may be closed for maintenance and restoration work. Building tour routes are subject to change. Please stay with your tour guide and follow all posted signs.

About the tour

Guided tours of the Legislative Building are led by talented volunteers who serve as ambassadors for this beautiful building. Our expert guides are excited to share their knowledge of the architecture and history of the Capitol. A guided tour of the Legislative Building includes the North Foyer, Rotunda, State Reception Room, and Legislative Galleries.

The building includes public restrooms, baby changing stations, water fountains, ADA entrances and parking, and elevators.
