Governor's Mansion Tours
Governor's Mansion tours are currently open for reservations.
The Governor's Mansion is the official residence of our governor. This redbrick, Georgian-style executive residence has been home to Washington's governors since 1910. It has been fully restored and furnished with many antiques from the American Federal period (1790s-1830s).
About the tour
This 30-minute tour leads you through a number of rooms in the mansion. You will be walking and standing and there are no public restrooms. The mansion is accessible to walkers and wheelchairs on the first floor only. The walk from the bottom of the driveway to the mansion's front door is a 200-yard incline.
You will check in with the Washington State Patrol at the bottom of the mansion driveway at least 10 minutes before your tour start time. If you are 18 or older, you are required to show photo ID. You must be accompanied by an adult if you are under 18.
All weapons are prohibited on the mansion grounds. Other prohibited items during the tour: backpacks, strollers, umbrellas, gum, food, and drinks. We will provide bins for you to store personal items. Purses are allowed during the tour.
