Deschutes Parkway to close Saturday for Toy Run

Expect increased noise, vehicle traffic.

What:

Olympia Toy Run, an annual fundraiser benefiting the Salvation Army

Where:

Marathon Park, on the southwest corner of Capitol Lake, and along Deschutes Parkway.

When:

Saturday, Dec. 7.

Impacts:

Increased foot and vehicle traffic at Marathon Park, 1-3 p.m. Anticipate increased noise and vehicle traffic, and foot traffic in Marathon Park during the event. Organizers expect 1,500 attendees.

Road closure:

Deschutes Parkway closed from Lakeridge to Fifth Avenue, 5 a.m. – 4 p.m.
