Annual event will impact campus parking, streets and public areas July 16-21. Campus use policies remain in effect.

Capital Lakefair takes place July 16-20. The event will impact Capitol Campus and surrounding areas July 16-21.
Where
West Capitol Campus, Heritage Park, Marathon Park, Deschutes Parkway
Impacts
Organizers anticipate 75,000 participants. Expect noise and increased pedestrian traffic.
Road and trail closures
Water Street next to Heritage Park: July 16-20
Deschutes Parkway from Lakeridge to Fifth Avenue: July 18, noon - 10 p.m.; July 19, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
North and South Diagonals: July 19, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
All roads west of Cherry Lane, switchback trail from West Campus to Heritage Park, and pedestrian bridge connecting Marathon to Heritage Park: July 20, 1 p.m. - midnight.
Other impacts
Parking disruptions on West Campus during parade and fireworks show: July 19, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.; July 20, 1 p.m. - midnight
More information
Campus use policies remain in effect:
- No alcohol on campus without a commercial permit.
- Campus rooftops are off-limits.
- Personal use of reserved and zoned parking stalls not allowed.
- Visitor parking is free every day after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Consult the campus map for visitor parking options.
