Water line repairs to impact parking on West Capitol Campus
An emergency repair will create some parking closures.
What
A leak was discovered in the chilled water line that cools the buildings on the West Capitol Campus. The line has been turned off while DES Buildings and Grounds crews evaluate repair needs.
When
Friday, April 3, until repairs are complete.

Impacts
During the week of April 6, the work will bring noise to the south end of the West Capitol Campus as workers remove asphalt to repair the pipes. Some assigned parking on the south side of the Legislative Building will be closed temporarily. The cooling systems in all buildings on the West Capitol Campus will be down during repairs. As temperatures are expected to increase over the weekend, DES workers will monitor building temperatures and make HVAC adjustments to compensate. Be advised that some spaces may be warmer than normal. Please contact your property manager with any questions or concerns.
