Commemoration will bring a crowd to the Korean War Memorial

The Korean War memorial features three bronze statues of soldiers huddling around a fire, with 22 flags, representing each of the nations that joined the U.S in the war effort.

A commemoration will honor veterans of the Korean War. An armed honor guard will be in attendance.

Event & Location: A Korean War commemoration will bring a crowd and noise to the East Capitol Campus. The event will feature speakers and an armed honor guard. Estimated attendance is 300.

When: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15.
