Events and impacts at the Capitol June 9-14

Visitors should expect crowds and closures to parking areas and roadways.

Jefferson Street and Maple Park visitor parking lot closure
Maintenance work: DES is repainting the parking stalls’ stripes.
When:
Monday, June 9, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where:
Jefferson Street and Maple Park visitor parking lot.
Impacts:
Drivers headed to the visitor lot at Jefferson Street and Maple Park should consult the campus map for additional parking areas. The nearest alternative is the Plaza Garage.
Judicial Leadership Summit
A scheduled event organized by the state Board for Judicial Administration.
When:
Friday, June 13, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Event takes place 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Impacts:
The South Diagonal will close to vehicle traffic and parking.
No Kings Rally
A protest event by Olympia Indivisible.
When:
Saturday, June 14, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Event takes place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where:
Steps to the Temple of Justice; lawn near Tivoli Fountain.
Impacts:
Vehicle entry to West Campus will be restricted to Sid Snyder Way.
The following roads will be closed:
- North Diagonal
- South Diagonal
- Water Street at 11th Avenue
- Cherry Lane
- Pleasant Lane
West Campus parking areas will close, including:
- Flag Circle
- Mansion lot
- South of Legislative Building
- North and South Diagonals
