Events, parking closures at Capitol Campus week of June 2

Visitors should expect crowds and closures to parking and roadways for the following events.

Consult the campus map for parking options.

Jefferson Street and Maple Park visitor parking lot closure

Maintenance work: pressure washing.

When:

Monday, June 2, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where:

Jefferson Street and Maple Park visitor parking lot.

Impacts:

The visitor parking lot will be closed all day for cleaning of parking stalls. 

Trooper Basic Training Graduation

Graduation ceremony for Washington State Patrol troopers.

When:

Wednesday, June 4, 2-4 p.m.

Where:

North Diagonal, Legislative Building rotunda.

Impacts:

The roadway and parking stalls of the North Diagonal will be closed. The General Administration Building visitor lot will be closed. Organizers expect 400 people.

Defend the Constitution

A protest event by Evergreen Resistance 50501.

When:

Friday, June 6, 2-7:30 p.m. Event runs 4-6 p.m.

Where:

North steps of the Legislative Building; lawn near Tivoli Fountain.

Impacts:

Organizers expect 500 people.
