Meet Bob Whitney, a 20-year Capitol volunteer

We’re celebrating Bob Whitney for his 20 years of volunteer service as a Legislative Building tour guide and desk associate!

Bob is an appreciated member of our Capitol Campus community, always greeting visitors warmly and sharing his vast knowledge about the historic campus.

As a Washington native who grew up in the area, he knows these grounds. By welcoming and helping many visitors from all backgrounds, and from all around the world, Bob has greatly improved the visitor experience.

Bob’s volunteerism for the last 20 years reminds us of the incredible impact that dedicated individuals can have on the community. His commitment exemplifies the care and stewardship central to our work at the Capitol Campus. Thank you for all that you do, Bob.
