Driving to Capitol Campus? Here are some tips to avoid a ticket.

The Department of Enterprise Services is responsible for enforcing the state Capitol’s parking rules. Our staff issue tickets for parking-related infractions.

We want to make sure you have the information you need to enjoy your time here—because nothing ruins a day at the Capitol like a parking ticket.

To avoid a ticket:

  • Park in the right place.
  • Pay in the right way.
  • Put your payment on display.

Park in the right place. Visitors may park in any one of the visitor parking areas. State employees coming to campus from their normal duty stations may also park in visitor parking.

State employees assigned to work on the Capitol Campus, and those who typically work from home, may park in employee parking.

Find parking on the campus map.

Pay in the right way. You can:

  • Pay at the meter.
  • Purchase a bundle of day passes from Parking Services.

Clearly display your proof of payment. Take your receipt from the pay station and leave it on your dashboard.

We want to make sure you have a trouble-free trip to the Capitol. Contact Parking Services with questions or requests for help.
