State Patrol event to impact Capitol parking, tours

Organizers expect 100 participants.

What

Washington State Patrol: Trooper Lateral Graduation Event

When:

Thursday, Jan. 9, 2-3 p.m.

Where:

  • Legislative Building rotunda, and third- and fourth-floor mezzanines.

Impacts:

  • Parking stalls on the North Diagonal will be closed all day.
  • DES will suspend tours of the Legislative Building from 2-3 p.m.
  • Expect an increase in pedestrian traffic.
