Temple of Justice reopens

Open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Following a two-year renovation, the Temple of Justice building is open to the public once again. 

The first state capitol building to be built on the Capitol Campus, the Temple of Justice opened in 1912. DES' renovations included replacing aged heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as lighting and plumbing systems. 

The building houses the following offices: 

Building hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enter the building either through the south-side entrance facing the Legislative Building, or through the ADA-accessible entryway on the building’s east side. All visitors will undergo a security screening, which involves passing through metal detectors, emptying pockets into containers, and having bags visually inspected.
