Tree maintenance work will close streets, parking
Watch out for work crews Nov. 10-12 and Nov. 26.
Crews will work on mature trees in four locations on the historic West Campus to enhance public safety and maintain tree health.
When
Monday, Nov. 10 through Wednesday, Nov. 12; and Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Where
- Northwest of the Legislative Building (Nov. 10).
- Trees on the south side of the Helen Sommers Building, 11th Avenue SW (Nov. 11).
- Next to Sunken Garden, north side of North Diagonal Lane (Nov. 12).
- South of the Vietnam Memorial (Nov. 26).
Street and parking closures
- Nov. 10: Pleasant Lane, reserved parking stalls in SW corner of Flag Circle.
- Nov. 11: Eleventh Avenue SW between Capitol Way and Water Street.
- Nov. 12: Parking on the north side of North Diagonal Lane.
- Nov. 26: Reserved parking will close on Sid Snyder Way directly south of Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Closures take place approximately 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
