Story of the Tree

There is a row of ornamental pears planted in Heritage Park parallel to the Arc of Statehood, which runs along the eastern edge of Capitol Lake.

When these trees are in bloom, they look like a white cloud in the landscape.

This tree has been shown to be invasive in many areas of the Southeastern United States.
